Android Setup

This repository explains how you can setup your Android Phone to document the MakerSpace.

  1. Head over to f-droid.org
  2. Install the app. You may need to allow that your browser can install apps or navigate to it in the Downloads app.
  3. When installed look for these apps:

If you cannot download and install F-Droid, you may be able to use the direct downloads below.

PixelDroid

You can download the app directly or via the F-Droid app (recommended) by searching for pixel. Once installed, add the user account.

Search for FediFoto, see here. You can install this app to post a lot of images fast. Once installed, add the user account.

Choose this app if you have an older Android Phone.

You can download the app directly or via the F-Droid app by searching for twitlatte. Once installed, add the user account.

Once you have installed any of the apps and you open them, you will need this information to log in and post photos:

  1. Instance: pix.toot.wales
  2. Username: ammanvms@outlook.com
    Password: You can get the password from the Firefox or from Nicco.
  3. Click on Authorize.
